2006 Sem 1 at perth...

Had the urge to blog ever since I came back... Wrote down 2 entries in MS word so that I could cut and paste into my blog...

Friday 24/2/06

I’ll just use Microsoft word to blog about each day. Arrive at the Perth airport at 2 35. I got my luggage and went to the customs to check my baggage. It was when they wanted to open my luggage and when I couldn’t open it that I found that I got the wrong baggage. I found the right baggage and still got checked because they thought my shokubutsu refill pack was some kind of dangerous stuff. When I was about to take my luggage off the table, the handle tore my jeans, my new jeans which I had just bought for chinese new year. Felt so disorientated when I came back, realized that they’re many things which I haven’t done. I haven’t got my letter which I need to pay my school fees, haven’t enrolled in 3 units yet, and my room is still full of boxes. Only managed to pack my clothes in my cupboard. I just realized how many clothes I have. I have 2 cupboards in my room and if I hang them up, I think there’ll be very little room for more clothes. Its really scary… I had better do less shopping this year…

My life in Perth’s in a mess rite now… esp with sch. On the 1st day of sch, I had to go and collect my new campus card cos the mail which contained the student card got sent back to the post office. Plus I had to go to collect my statement of account to pay my sch fees. It’s the due date on mon. Thankfully I got both things out of the way by 10 am. Had sandwich for lunch and quickly rushed off to settle my enrolment. I had enrolled in psych 311: Specialist Research Topic in sem 2 without knowing that I had to enroll for psych 310: Specialist research topic in sem 1. Apparently 311 is a continuation of 310. Got that sorted out pretty quickly in the afternoon. Thank god I didn’t have to join the long queue in student administration. I’m now waiting for my enrolment to be confirmed. Plus I didn’t really have the mood to do my enrolment for tutes in Spore. In the end, did it last sat when I went back and I was in the 2nd allocation run, meaning that I could only take the available slots which the students in the 1st allocation run didn’t want. I hope I get an even timetable. Hopefully I’ll be able to get Friday classes so I don’t get to slack. I’m pretty freaked out this yr cos I have no more 1st year units.

Gotta sell books tomorrow so that I can use the money to get new books. I really regret not coming back a few days earlier. I’m doing everything last min and everything seems in a blur. I feel unorganized and blur. Cant even make out what I’m saying or doing sometimes. For ppl in Perth who are reading this, I’m so sorry. My mind’s in a whirl now. Hopefully I’ll be able to settle down soon and get everything out of the way…
